The Konstanz Theater is a small city theater in the city of Konstanz, Germany. During the Covid pandemic, it had to close completely for 203 days due to safety regulations. Its story and that of its artists are representative for the huge crisis that came to the whole art industry in all over Germany and the world.
The documentary portraits eight people from different departments of the theater. They talk about pain, struggle and coping but also positive side effects of the pandemic as well.
The filming took place between March and June 2021, right in the middle of the pandemic.
